So will inFAMOUS be released on ps3 or is it going to be solely for ps4?

At the moment it appears that inFamous: Second Son will be a PS4 only game. However, if we hear otherwise, you can be sure we’ll tell you about it! :)

inFamous: Second Son confirmed for PlayStation 4

Sucker Punch has confirmed that inFamous: Second Son will be released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive.

Sorry for the delay! But here it is: the latest title in the Infamous universe. Infamous: Second Son will follow seven years after the events of Infamous 2, starring an all new protagonist named Deslin Rowe, and a new adversary, a government organization known as the DUP (the Department of Unified Protection).

Confirmed: Cole MacGrath will not return, and this is a new story all together.
